Research before seeking unsecured loans
London, 06 December, 2006: People here in UK are very much concerned about their home improvements and have opted for finances for their projects. A significant number of people have taken out unsecured loans for their home improvements. This has been revealed by a new report.
A research by Money Expert reveals that UK property owners have spent around £ 1,509.10 each over the last year in employing tradespeople to undertake home improvement projects.
But the firm has warned that many of them are paying more for their work, if they are using an unsecured loan for the work. The total repayment of the loan amount has been made as £10,000 over four years varying by up to £2,501.76. "
The chief executive of Money expert have stated " Personal loans can vary in price dramatically-you could end up paying back as much as a quarter of the amount you borrowed in extra repayments unless you research market carefully."
Over the last two years, 15 million UK residents have employed someone to complete work on their properties. But one in ten have stated that they were unhappy with the results, as reported by Direct line.
Since, past report reveals that people have spend a significant amount of money on repayments. So, they need to do research market carefully for a better deal.
